Why is rap bad music

By clicking create account, you are indicating that you have read and agree to the terms of service.Many people today say that rap music has a negative impact on the youth culture.Half the time the only thing rappers actually do now is regurgitate lyrics.What they don't understand is the message the artist is trying to make behind the lyrics.Strippers, drinking, degrading women, drugs, and getting money, just to name a few.

Rap perpetuates horrible ideas like the police are bad, infidelity is not only okay but a good thing, women should only be used for pleasure, life is only about money and women, being in a gang is cool, breaking the law is okay, etc there are exceptions to the rule but the vast majority are terrible.Most rap songs talk about drugs, money, murder, sex etc.Many media stories identify rap music as a catalyst in problems such as teen pregnancy, crime or some other negative social issue that existed long before rap music became prevalent.One of my biggest criticisms of rap is the subject matter referenced in the songs.It just reminds me of a ping pong ball being bounced around on a rubber band.

The obsession with killing this one is shameful because i don't know any other music genre that does this.Rap also uses some techniques such as similes, metaphor, rhyming, and onomatopoeias.All of the racist shit they put in it is unconscionable.Here's why rap music is still considered a bad influence by some critics.
